1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Attendee," "User," "you," or "your") and The General Public LLC, operating as DOPE BBQ ("DOPE BBQ," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the dope-bbq.com website, attendance at our events, and all related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing our website, purchasing tickets, or attending our events, you confirm that:

• You are at least 21 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
• You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws

If you are purchasing tickets or registering on behalf of others, you represent that you have authority to bind those individuals to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

The General Public LLC, through DOPE BBQ, provides the following services:

2.1 Event Production Services

• Day parties and cultural events in Brooklyn, NY and surrounding areas
• Live music and DJ performances featuring Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afro-Dancehall
• Rooftop and outdoor venue experiences
• Celebrity appearances and special guest performances

2.2 Event Amenities

• Premium open bar (for 21+ attendees with valid ID)
• Gourmet food vendors and culinary experiences
• VIP and table service options
• Coat check and concierge services (where available)

2.3 Digital Services

• Online event registration and RSVP
• Ticket purchases through our website or ticketing partners
• Newsletter and event updates
• Early access and exclusive offers for subscribers

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

3.1 Age Verification

• All attendees must present valid government-issued photo identification at entry
• Acceptable forms of ID include: driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID
• Expired IDs will not be accepted
• We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot provide valid ID

3.2 Refunds for Age-Related Denial

If you are denied entry due to failure to provide valid ID or not meeting age requirements, no refund will be provided. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet all entry requirements before purchasing tickets.

4. Tickets and Event Registration

4.1 Ticket Purchases

• All ticket sales are final unless the event is cancelled by DOPE BBQ
• Ticket prices are subject to change without notice until purchase is completed
• Service fees and taxes are non-refundable
• We reserve the right to limit ticket quantities per customer

4.2 Ticket Transfer and Resale

• Tickets may be transferred to another individual at face value
• Resale of tickets above face value is prohibited
• Tickets obtained through unauthorized channels may be voided without refund
• Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced

4.3 Event Cancellation and Changes

• In case of event cancellation by DOPE BBQ, ticket holders will receive a full refund
• Refunds will be processed within 30 days to the original payment method
• Event date, time, venue, or lineup changes do not guarantee refunds
• We are not responsible for third-party ticketing platform fees

4.4 VIP and Table Reservations

• VIP and table reservations require a deposit at time of booking
• Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled
• Minimum spend requirements may apply to table service
• Guest list spots do not guarantee entry; capacity limits apply

5. Event Conduct and Rules

5.1 Code of Conduct

All attendees must adhere to the following rules:

• Treat all guests, staff, and performers with respect
• Follow all instructions from event staff and security
• Consume alcohol responsibly
• No fighting, aggressive behavior, or harassment of any kind
• No discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic

5.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted at our events:

• Weapons of any kind
• Illegal drugs or substances
• Outside food or beverages
• Professional cameras or recording equipment without authorization
• Any items deemed dangerous by event security

5.3 Ejection from Events

We reserve the right to remove any attendee from an event without refund for violation of these terms, disruptive behavior, or at the discretion of event management and security. Law enforcement may be contacted if necessary.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The DOPE BBQ name, logo, "More Than Just A Party" tagline, website content, event designs, graphics, and all other materials are owned by or licensed to The General Public LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include:

• Modifying or copying our materials for commercial use
• Using our name, logo, or branding without written permission
• Creating derivative works based on our content
• Using materials for promotional purposes without authorization

6.3 Trademark Notice

"DOPE BBQ," "The General Public," and associated logos are trademarks of The General Public LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

7. User Content and Media Release

7.1 Photography and Recording Consent

By attending a DOPE BBQ event, you grant The General Public LLC permission to:

• Photograph, film, and record you at the event
• Use your image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials
• Publish such materials on social media, websites, and advertising
• Use materials without compensation to you

7.2 Your Social Media Content

When you tag us or use our event hashtags on social media, you grant us permission to repost and share your content. If you do not want your content shared, please contact us.

7.3 Content Standards

Any content you submit (reviews, comments, messages) must not:

• Be false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights
• Promote illegal activities or violence
• Be obscene, harassing, or discriminatory

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Engage in scalping or unauthorized ticket resale
• Impersonate DOPE BBQ staff or affiliates
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to VIP areas or backstage
• Interfere with event operations or enjoyment of other guests
• Bring unauthorized promotional materials or distribute flyers
• Record performances without permission
• Engage in any activity that could damage our reputation or events

9. Disclaimers and Assumption of Risk

9.1 Assumption of Risk

By attending DOPE BBQ events, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with event attendance, including but not limited to:

• Exposure to loud music and sound systems
• Crowded environments and physical contact with other attendees
• Risk of injury from dancing, standing, or moving through the venue
• Exposure to strobe lights, fog machines, and special effects
• Weather conditions at outdoor events
• Consumption of alcohol and its effects

9.2 "As Is" Basis

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• Specific artist or performer appearances
• Specific event duration or schedule
• Uninterrupted event experience
• Specific weather conditions for outdoor events

9.3 Third-Party Services

We work with third-party vendors for food, beverages, ticketing, and other services. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of these third parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE GENERAL PUBLIC LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Personal injury or property damage at events (except where caused by our gross negligence)
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for your ticket

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The General Public LLC, DOPE BBQ, and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your attendance at our events
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your conduct at events or on our website
• Your consumption of alcohol at our events

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at info@dope-bbq.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

13.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. Arbitration will be conducted in Brooklyn, New York.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

13.4 Exceptions

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for infringement of intellectual property rights or other urgent matters.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services or attendance at our events after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

For significant changes, we will provide notice through email or a prominent notice on our website.
